Hassan has a immobile courageous disposition that Baba enjoys. There are many ups and downs in the story of perfidiousness and loyalty. Amir is called back to Af ghanistan as an gravid by a family friend when Hassan and his wife are killed. Chapter 22 is the defining instant for Amir during the fight with Assef, the childhood hood of the Kabul neighborhood.
